Job summary

Accenture Federal Services in the Washington, DC area seeks a Security Lead to oversee risk assessments, governance, and compliance monitoring. The role requires a deep understanding of GRC and Cyber Defense to protect assets and data integrity.

You will lead program management for the security workstream, staff specialized cyber resources, and budget for security software, while driving NIST/FISMA/SOC 1/2 compliance within an ERP environment. ATO processes will also be overseen.

Qualifications

• Experience with governance, risk and compliance (GRC) program management.
• Extensive cybersecurity and audit experience required.
• Knowledge of NIST, FISMA and SOC 1/SOC 2 frameworks.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP and ATO processes.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact.
• Collaborates with CISOs, internal auditors and technical architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead program management support functions for the security workstream, including staffing specialized cyber resources and budgeting for security software.
• Execute cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring compliance with NIST, FISMA, or SOC 1/SOC 2 within an ERP environment.
• Oversee FedRAMP and ATO (Authority to Operate) processes.
• Facilitate the audit lifecycle by serving as the central point of contact for audit inquiries and managing evidence collection.
• Monitor and report on security posture through executive-level dashboards on risk exposure and audit-readiness activities.
• Provide strategic input on cybersecurity tools, IAM, encryption standards, and secure integration with external interfaces.
• Translate technical vulnerabilities into business-risk statements for leadership.
• Align cybersecurity goals with business objectives to support user productivity and system performance.
• Mentor and develop security analysts to enhance their understanding of cybersecurity challenges and GRC automation.
