Job summary

Seven Feathers Casino Resort is seeking a Security Officer II to assist the Shift Supervisor in managing security for a shift, ensuring safety for guests and staff and safeguarding assets. You will direct workflow, supervise staff, and enforce policies and internal controls.

The role requires the ability to coordinate tasks, maintain policy knowledge, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent guest service and multitasking across daily security operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience preferred as a Security Officer II or similar in a casino/security environment.
• Familiarity with Defensive Tactics.
• Administrative/clerical experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills in Word and Outlook.
• Analytical and mathematical skills preferred.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Excellent service approach when dealing with guests.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain OLCC permit within first 90 days.
• Current and valid Oregon Driver's License with UIDC Drivers Program qualification.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Shift Supervisor in managing Security activities for a shift.
• Schedules and delegates work to security staff and oversees daily operations.
• Provides guidance to staff and suggests development of employees.
• Ensures procedures, policies, laws, and internal controls are followed.
• Maintains knowledge of security policy and internal controls.
• Responds to and resolves security issues involving guests or employees.
