Qualla Enterprises LLC is seeking a Security Lead to ensure the safety of assets, employees, and guests at their facilities in North Carolina. This entry-level position includes daily security operations and leading the team in the supervisor's absence. Applicants must have a high school diploma and relevant security experience. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage various tasks in a dynamic setting.

Primary Function:
The Security Lead is an entry-level position within the Qualla Enterprises, LLC organizational structure and is established to carry out the daily security operations. This position will ensure the safety of company assets, employees, and persons on the properties owned or operated by the company in addition to leading the security team in the absence of a supervisor.
Reports to: Security Supervisor
Pay Grade/FLSA Status: H8/Non-exempt
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 6 months cannabis security experience required.
· Must be 21 years of age or older.
· Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Follow standard Security policies and procedures.
· Maintain Security equipment and report malfunctions.
· Monitor the facility.
· Follow emergency response procedures to respond to weather, fire, intrusion and security breaches; document and report issues to management.
· Follow policy and procedures as it relates to the securing and transportation of cannabis.
· Follow route guidance as given by management in compliance with enterprise policy and procedures.
· Prepare incident reports as needed per management’s request.
· Notify and coordinate with local law enforcement/emergency services in the event of a transportation emergency, fire, loss, theft and/or diversion of cannabis.
· Maintain logs of operations by filing paper/electronic documents.
· Provide daily reports of general Security information as required.
· Ensure full compliance with state, and tribal laws for reporting requirements.
· Lead security team in the absence of a Security Supervisor.
· Coordinate the safe and efficient transport of product between facilities owned by the company.
· Contribute to overall team efforts as needed.
· Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
· Ensure accuracy in all areas of daily duties.
· Maintain strong working relationships with other employees of Qualla Enterprises LLC and Tribal employees.
· Other duties as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
· Ability to focus on multiple duties at the same time.
· Must have a neat appearance with good personal hygiene.
· Basic computer literacy.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel and Word.
Physical Demands:
· Must be able to be on feet for an 8-hour shift.
· Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
· Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grasp.
· Must be able to operate machinery including but not limited to: all-terrain vehicles (ATV), company vehicles.
