Job summary

Mission Technologies is seeking a Security IT Event Support professional in Suffolk, VA to assist with planning, security, and coordination of military events. The role requires handling classified information, coordinating across DoD and partner organizations, and maintaining event timelines and risk registers.

The candidate should have 5+ years of relevant experience with a related degree or 9 years with a HS diploma, and hold an active DoD Secret clearance with potential upgrade to TS/SCI.

Qualifications

• 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 3 years with Master’s in related field; 0 years with PhD/JD; or High School Diploma with 9 years relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to upgrade to TS/SCI.
• Experience planning exercises, events and coordination across multiple enclaves.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and security for events by analyzing requirements, environments, resources, timelines, and risks.
• Develop and maintain planning products (event support plans, battle rhythm, risk registers, timelines).
• Coordinate with military, government, industry and partners for security planning and events.
• Assist Security Officer with personnel and event security requirements and classification needs.
• Investigate security incidents and support mitigation and corrective actions.
