SWBC is seeking a motivated Security Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting security, risk, compliance, and resilience initiatives within a converged Security organization.

The internship provides exposure to Information Security, Physical Security, and Organizational Resilience programs while working with experienced security professionals in a regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college/university in cybersecurity, information systems, CS, IT, risk management, or related field.
• Expected graduation December 2026 or later.
• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity, information technology, or risk concepts.
• Interest in governance, risk, compliance, audit readiness, and information protection.
• Ability to follow documented procedures and handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Support security assessments, audits, and client due diligence by gathering and validating documentation and evidence.
• Assist with tracking compliance requests, audit activities, remediation tasks, and follow-up items.
• Help prepare for assessments, walkthroughs, and meetings with auditors and stakeholders.
• Support documentation related to security controls, systems, data protection, and access management.
• Collaborate with Governance, Risk and Compliance, IAM, Security Operations, and other teams.
• Learn SWBC security policies, standards, and confidentiality requirements.
