Job Overview

The Threat Intelligence for Global Enterprise Response (TIGER) team, part of Amazon Cyber Threat Intelligence (ACTI), develops actionable intelligence on advanced cyber threats to Amazon’s assets. Our work supports incident response, detection, red team, and prevention efforts by analyzing indicators from various sources to understand threat actors and their TTPs, enabling proactive mitigation.

Location

We are hiring candidates to work remotely from the following locations: Annapolis Junction, MD; Arlington, VA; Austin, TX; Herndon, VA; New York, NY; Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

1. Perform deep analysis of malicious artifacts.
2. Analyze large, unstructured data sets to identify trends and anomalies.
3. Create security techniques and automation for internal use.
4. Contribute to understanding the current threat landscape.
5. Draft and publish threat intelligence reports.
6. Participate in periodic on-call duties.

Basic Qualifications

• BSc in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years tracking high-sophistication cyber threat groups.
• 3+ years in system security, network security, digital forensics, or related fields.
• 2+ years experience with SQL or similar query languages.

Preferred Qualifications

• MS in relevant fields.
• Strong understanding of OS internals.
• Experience with malware analysis, network flow analysis, large-scale data analysis, and threat intelligence platforms.
• Experience with AWS services.
