Job summary

Design & Integration, Inc. is seeking an experienced Security & Integrated Systems Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial electronic security projects in the Baltimore region.

You will oversee estimates, budgets, procurement, and execution from planning to turnover, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and low-voltage systems, plus strong leadership, financial acumen, and

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of project management, coordination, field leadership, engineering, or installation management experience in commercial electronic security.
• Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, intercom, and networked security systems.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, resources, and customer relationships.
• Knowledge of construction processes, project documentation, change orders, and coordinating with subcontractors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates, budgets, proposals, schedules, and execution plans for security and integrated technology projects.
• Manage all phases from award through closeout, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, manufacturers, and internal teams to define objectives and maintain relationships.
• Build relationships with manufacturers and partners to support estimating and pricing and stay informed on security tech.
• Monitor financial performance, manage change orders, review costs, and support profitability.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, QA, documentation, and turnover.
• Lead and coordinate technicians, engineers, and field personnel and foster teamwork.
