Job summary

Safe Haven Security LLC is seeking an Installation Technician / Security Advisor to install, service, and troubleshoot residential alarm and automation systems, ensuring proper functioning and customer peace of mind.

You will perform installations, diagnose and resolve issues, educate customers on system use, and document all work while staying current with industry standards to deliver best-in-class service and sales consultations.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain or possess basic tools necessary for the job duties.
• Proficient in installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining security alarm systems including panels, sensors, and cameras.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Install security alarm systems including control panels, sensors, cameras, and related equipment.
• Engage in sales consultations to understand customer needs and recommend solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure proper function.
• Test installed systems and perform adjustments or repairs as needed.
• Educate customers on usage of their security systems.
• Complete installation reports, service tickets, and inventory records.
