Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Security Installation Specialist to lead installations of CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems. You will work on projects for hospitals, data centers, and universities, deploying AI-powered video and cloud-connected access control solutions.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, system programming, and collaboration with engineers and clients to ensure flawless handoffs and compliant deployments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years (mid-level) or 3+ years (senior-level) of hands‑on experience with security system installs (Genetec, Avigilon, CCURE, Milestone, Axis, etc.).
• Understanding of IP networking, routers/switches/firewalls, and video bandwidth considerations.
• Ability to work at heights and lift 50 lbs unassisted in construction environments.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility for fleet program.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in‑class installations of integrated electronic security systems—CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, alarm sensors, and associated software platforms.
• Perform system programming, testing, and final commissioning activities.
• Provide on‑site mentorship and training to junior specialists—share best practices and foster team growth.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure seamless execution from install to handoff.
• Conduct walkthroughs, punch lists, and customer acceptance testing.
• Identify installation deficiencies and recommend improvements to elevate quality and compliance.

What You’ll Do:

Requirements:

• 1+ years (mid-level) or 3+ years (senior-level) of hands‑on experience with security system installs (Genetec, Avigilon, CCURE, Milestone, Axis, etc.).
• Understanding of network infrastructure—IP addressing, routers/switches/firewalls, and video bandwidth considerations.
• Ability to work at heights, lift 50 lbs unassisted, and navigate construction and retrofit environments.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and eligibility for our fleet program.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently without sponsorship.

Preferred:

• 5+ years in complex security installations.
• Massachusetts Class D Electrical License.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and construction documents.
