The Security Innovation & Integrations Manager 2 is responsible for leading Northrop Grumman’s technical security the Innovation hub at the Enterprise Security Center. In this role, the manager serves as the primary conduit between Industrial Security and the developers and technical teams who design, build, and maintain related security solutions.

This position is located in Irving, TX, but open to a fully remote schedule.

The Security Innovation & Integrations Manager drives the design, integration, and continuous improvement of technical security capabilities across the enterprise. This role identifies and assesses emerging technologies, leads complex integration efforts, and ensures that technical security capabilities implemented through effectively support business and mission needs while maintaining alignment with regulatory and contractual requirements (e.g., 32 CFR Part 117, DCSA guidance, customer directives).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the functional security team responsible for user support, configuration, and data quality across integrated security solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between Industrial Security and development/IT teams for related capabilities, issues, and enhancements.
• Act as the technical security innovation and integrations lead, translating Industrial Security requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications for developers.
• Oversee processing, exchange, and tracking of key security data (e.g., personnel security information, visit records, program access, incident/issue tracking) across integrated systems.
• Partner with Industrial Security, Cybersecurity, and IT to ensure workflows and configurations support current regulatory, customer, and enterprise requirements.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures, configuration standards, and user guidance for related integrations.
• Monitor data integrity and compliance across integrated systems; identify trends, discrepancies, and systemic issues and drive corrective actions and improvements.
• Plan, prioritize, and assign work for the team, including ticket triage, configuration changes, integration enhancements, and innovation initiatives.
• Lead and support testing, validation, and implementation of upgrades, patches, and new or enhanced integrations.
• Provide metrics and reporting on usage, performance, backlog, and issue trends to leadership; support dashboard and report development as needed.
• Support and/or deliver training and onboarding for users, including security professionals and technical stakeholders.
• Partner with IT, HR, Security Shared Services, and other cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues and implement changes that span multiple systems or processes.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience in Industrial Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field OR Master’s degree and 3 years of elated experience in Industrial Security, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered.
• Experience supporting, integrating, or using enterprise security information systems or tools (e.g., DISS/NBIS, SIMS, or equivalent).
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, projects, or workstreams (formal or informal leadership), preferably in a security or IT environment.
• Strong understanding of industrial security fundamentals and related regulations (e.g., 32 CFR Part 117/NISPOM, DCSA requirements, and applicable customer directives).
• Proven ability to interpret security and business requirements, translate them into system and process changes, and drive successful implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface effectively with security professionals, developers, IT, and business leadership.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Top Secret and/or TS/SCI clearance.
• Direct experience working as an administrator, power user, or support lead for enterprise security tools or integrations (e.g., case management systems, personnel security systems, or other security information platforms).
• Prior experience leading a small technical or operational team in a security, IT, or systems integration environment.
• Experience developing and delivering training and user guidance for security systems, integrations, or tools.
• Familiarity with Northrop Grumman enterprise security organizations, processes, and toolsets (e.g., MySecurity, Security Shared Services, sector security teams).
• Experience with data quality initiatives, metrics development, and dashboard/report creation for security or IT operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to interpret the structure and logic of common programming, scripting, and query languages at a conceptual level.
• Comfortable reading code snippets, configuration scripts, or queries to follow technical discussions and identify potential impacts.
• Able to engage effectively with software developers, database administrators, and other technical staff to clarify requirements, issues, and potential impacts.
• Capable of translating technical explanations into clear, actionable information for non-technical stakeholders and management.

Primary Level Salary Range: $110,100.00 - $173,400.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
