Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Principal Industrial Security Analyst/Facility Security Officer to lead the Industrial Security Program on site in Falls Church, VA. You will develop security programs for classified materials, conduct audits, training, and coordinate with the ESCC to protect sensitive information.

Required are a TS clearance with SAP/SCI access, knowledge of NISPOM, OPSEC, and security operations across multiple functions; strong communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience in industrial security or related disciplines.
• Possess a current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI access as a condition of continued employment.
• Strong working knowledge of NISPOM, ICD security standards, OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical and information security principles.
• Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Industrial Security Analyst/Facility Security Officer. This position will report directly to the Corporate Office Security Manager. This is an on-site position and will be based out of Falls Church, VA.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day execution and oversight of the Industrial Security Program in compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), customer requirements, and internal policies.

Responsibilities:

This position develops and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and security audits. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Work as point of contact for alarms/response and work closely with the Enterprise Security Control Center (ESCC).

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Manage program security compliance and daily operations across multiple security functions, including but not limited to: Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), Operations Security (OPSEC), Contract Security, SETA, Investigations, Visitor Control, and Document Control Management
• Investigate security violations and prepare reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
• Maintain personnel security database, conduct inquiries for security incidents and ensure compliance with Government and company reporting regulations/requirements.
• Supports insider threat investigations by collecting and analyzing relevant data and preparing case documentation.
• Participate in internal and external security compliance assessment reviews and perform self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/ requirements.
• Develop, implement, and administer Security Awareness and Annual Refresher Training and OPSEC program in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117, the NISPOM Rule.
• Maintain classified accountability program, oversee secure storage and workspaces, conduct annual inventory of accountable classified material.
• Ensure that all classified materials held by the sites are compliant with the regulations and directives which govern marking, handling, controlling, removing, transporting, sanitizing, reusing, and destroying classified information and equipment containing classified information.
• Provide security support to all cleared employees and approved visitors
• Process and manage incoming and outgoing visit authorizations and visitor control

• Successfully plans and performs all manner of security inspections, including self-inspections, CSA inspections, and internal inspections, as required.
• Develops, implements, and maintains all manner of required security documentation to include OPSEC plans, CONOPS, SOPs, desktop instructions, and more.

• Manage and maintain site security camera and badging access control systems.
• Coordinate with security vendors for building and classified area maintenance.
• Supporting corporate office security requirements, including emergency response, crisis management, and executive engagements.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience to include industrial security or related disciplines OR Master's Degree with 3 years of experience to include industrial security or related disciplines OR Associate's Degree with 7 years of experience to include industrial security or related disciplines OR High School Diploma with 9 years of experience to include industrial security or related disciplines.
• Candidates must have a current U.S. Government Top Secret level security clearance with ability to obtain and maintain SAP and SCI access as a condition of continued employment.
• Possess a thorough understanding and working knowledge of NISPOM and ICD security standards as well as OPSEC, personnel, industrial, cyber, physical and information security principles.
• Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications:

• CDSE – FSO Program Management for Processing and Non-Possessing Facilities certificate.
• Previous experience as an FSO/AFSO.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience completing compliance self-inspections and supporting formal customer compliance inspections.
• Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
• Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.
• Understanding and familiarity of DD-254 implementation requirements.
• Proficient with NISS, DISS, and SIMs or similar databases.
• Demonstrated positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
• Ability to rapidly adjust to changing priorities and deadlines.

• Knowledge of MS Office suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel and Access.

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
