Qualifications

• One year of security-related experience required.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background inquiry per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving roles only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, clients, and staff at a government health and family services location.
• Screen individuals entering the facility according to access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and report concerns or irregular activity.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and emergencies.
• Conduct regular patrols and document observations.
