Job summary

RED Global is seeking an experienced Security/Identity Engineer to support a large-scale public-sector technology program in Los Angeles County, California. The role focuses on implementing multi factor authentication within a role-based web application through integration with an identity provider.

The candidate should have 3+ years in security, IAM, and MFA, with Agile experience and a background in enterprise security and access management, preferably including CJIS familiarity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in security, identity and access management in enterprise apps.
• Hands-on MFA implementation and IDP integration with role-based web apps.
• Experience working in Agile delivery and collaborating with developers and stakeholders.
• Experience with enterprise application security, authentication and user access requirements.
• CJIS experience preferred; willingness to complete CJIS background checks.

Job description

RED Global is seeking an experienced Security/Identity Engineer to support a large-scale public-sector technology program in Los Angeles County, California. This individual will support the maintenance, production support and enhancement of a criminal justice records system, with a primary focus on implementing multi factor authentication within a role-based web application through integration with an identity provider.

Successful candidates will have the following:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience supporting security, identity and access management within enterprise application environments.
• Hands on experience implementing multi factor authentication and integrating identity providers with role based web applications.
• Ability to work within an Agile delivery environment, collaborating with developers, technical teams and business stakeholders to support production systems and application enhancements.
• Experience supporting enterprise application security, authentication, authorization, user access and identity management requirements.
• Previous experience supporting criminal justice, law enforcement, government or other highly regulated technology environments is strongly preferred. CJIS experience is a plus.
• Experience with C and Pro*C is preferred but not required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and willing and able to complete a California DOJ fingerprint-based background investigation and sign the CJIS Security Addendum.
