Responsibilities
  1. Ensure data integrity processes, including internal audits, naming standards, investigation protocols, and provisioning/deprovisioning best practices.
  2. Analyze system records for accuracy and update as needed.
  3. Audit security-sensitive areas to verify access controls.
  4. Conduct contractor and unused badge audits.
  5. Monitor and document unauthorized access and policy violations.
  6. Train staff on badge printing and user setup.
  7. Gather feedback to improve access risk management.
  8. Support risk analysis, investigations, and site visits to identify high-priority audit areas.
  9. Provide consultation and support for access control systems, escalating issues when necessary.
  10. Assist with new access control system installations and project management tasks.
  11. Represent Security and Public Safety, fostering a culture of accountability and cooperation.
Education and Experience

Associate Degree or equivalent in Business or related field; minimum 1 year in security systems programming or administration.

Skills and Knowledge
  • Certification in access control systems preferred (Lenel OnGuard, SoftwareHouse CCure, Vanderbilt SMS).
  • Knowledge of security procedures and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Flexible scheduling including off-shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Experience managing complex projects.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, drive, and lift up to 35 lbs.
