Job summary

Dineamic Hospitality is seeking Security Hosts who will maintain order and ensure the safety and well-being of guests within our bar premises in Chicago. You will enforce liquor, capacity, and entry laws while monitoring for security risks and intervening when necessary.

Ideal candidates are observant, dependable, and decisive, with 1+ year of security experience in fine dining or high-volume settings, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and the stamina to work nights, weekends, and

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a Security role at fine dining or high-volume venue.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and respond decisively.
• Must have non-expired Basset Certification.
• Able to stand, move, lift up to 50 pounds and work nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a respectful, friendly manner.
• Control foot traffic to prevent overcrowding.
• Check IDs to enforce liquor laws.
• Enforce dress codes and conduct standards.
• Monitor the venue for security threats; de-escalate and remove disruptive patrons.
• Demonstrate good judgment in interactions to avoid disrupting others.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.

Job description

DineAmicHospitality is seeking Security Hosts who will maintain order and ensure the safety and well-being of our guests while within the bar premises. Security Hosts enforce liquor, capacity, and bar entry laws; monitoring the environment for security risks; and address and intervene in situations that present a danger. Candidates should be observant, dependable, and decisive.

What You Will Do

• Create a positive first impression by greeting guests in a respectful and friendly manner
• Control the flow of foot traffic into the venue to prevent overcrowding
• Check patrons' identification to ensure compliance with liquor licensing laws
• Enforce dress codes and standards of conduct by refusing admittance to patrons who don't comply with company standards and regulations
• Patrol and monitor the venue to identify any security threats, de-escalating conflict and removing patrons who become unruly or disruptive
• Demonstrate good judgment when addressing issues and interacting with patrons to avoid disrupting other guests' experiences
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

What You Need to Have

• 1+ year(s) experience in a Security role within a fine dining establishment, nightclub, and/or high-volume restaurant required
• Ability to maintain composure under periods of high stress and high volume
• Respect for team members and guests
• Positive attitude and friendly personality
• Non-expired Basset Certification required
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to move, bend, lift, carry, push, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance; Stand or Walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
