Job summary

Bally's Interactive in New York is seeking a security officer to patrol assigned areas, maintain surveillance, and help ensure the safety of patrons and staff.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, enforcing rules, and providing escorts. The role requires weekend and night availability and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains surveillance to ensure patrons' and employees' safety.
• Responds quickly to emergencies and provides aid as necessary.
• Enforces facility rules and monitors licensing; logs relevant information.
• Provides escorts and assists in evacuations when required.
• Delivers exceptional customer service and communicates effectively with guests and staff.
• Follows all safety rules and procedures and completes incident reports.
• Opens/closes access points and uses radio to receive directions and convey information.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Patrols assigned areas and maintains surveillance of the premises to ensure the safety of patrons and employees.
• Patrols area to determine and guard against criminal offenses, pickpockets, nuisances, suspicious persons, etc.
• Quickly responds to any emergency situation as required, and gives aid as necessary.
• Physically lifts and removes patrons in difficult situations and administers C.P.R. if necessary.
• Ensures that no unauthorized persons enter the Paddock, Paddock Lounge without proper licensing.
• Checks for License and Insurance stickers for DD on reverse side and logs appropriate information.
• Enforces “No Smoking” in and around Lasik Barn.
• Provides escorts from the Money room to November Cage or Paddock Drivers Lounge.
• Raises and lowers flag daily.
• Opens and closes Roll Gate as needed.
• Utilizes radio to receive direction and communicate information.
• Completes and submits any reports concerning incidents that may occur as required or directed.
• Gives out information concerning facility such as directions to inquiring patrons.
• Assists in the evacuation of premises in the case of an emergency.
• Provides exceptional customer service.
• Works safely, following all established safety rules and regulations.
• Communicates effectively with co-workers, supervisors and guests.
• Follows all relevant policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Environment:

• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as schedule

Starting Compensation:
