Job summary

Titan Security seeks a Security Officer to protect properties in the Chicago area and deliver outstanding customer service at the front desk. You will manage access control, monitor surveillance, and conduct patrols to deter theft and ensure a safe environment.

The role requires you to respond to incidents, document events, and collaborate with the Titan Security team. Opportunities for growth and training are available, with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience as a door staff professional or in receptionist/customer service/clerical/hotel/restaurant roles.
• Comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets/animals.
• Able to acquire and maintain Illinois PERC, including state-mandated training.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to meet physical functions: lift 50+ lbs, patrols, stairs, inclement weather.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service to all parties while on duty, including directions and information.
• Maintain clear logs at front desk relating to people or property including packages.
• Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required.
• Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to prevent theft and maintain safety.
• Respond to incidents, including emergencies, and record data for Titan Security management.
• Other duties as assigned.
