Job summary

NSG, Inc. is seeking dedicated Security Officers for the second shift at a construction site in West Chester, OH. You will help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients and property.

Must pass a pre-employment background check and be able to work Monday through Friday, 11:59 p.m.–8:00 a.m. (40 hours/week). Compensation is $18.00 per hour with weekly pay on Fridays. You will perform rounds, monitor posts, de-escalate conflicts using Verbo Judo, and report incidents to NSG leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to obtain an Ohio security license.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled walking rounds inside and outside the facilities.
• Monitor property entrance/exit posts, inspect property and monitor visitors.
• Contact law enforcement or fire department in emergencies and report to NSG leadership.
• De-escalate situations using Verbo Judo techniques and maintain calm verbal control.
• Check doors, windows, and gates after hours to ensure security.
• Report suspicious activity promptly to NSG leadership and property owners.
• Guide discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
• Provide a visible presence to deter security threats and perform related duties.

NSG, Inc. is currently seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Officers to join our team for the second shift at a construction site located in West Chester, OH. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check.

Must be able to work the following set of days/hours:

• Monday through Friday from 11:59p-8:00a (40 Hours Per Week)

Compensation

• $18.00 per hour
• Weekly pay every Friday.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled walking rounds of the facilities, both outside and inside.
• Monitor property entrance/exit posts, inspect property and monitor visitors.
• Contact law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency. Communicate all incidents of such to NSG leadership and property owners.
• De-escalate situations by reducing the level or intensity, where conflict resolution or crisis management is needed. Use Verbo Judo techniques to understand the warning signs and defuse conflict verbally.
• Be aware of signs of tension
• Deter by establishing your authority

• Come up with a resolution
• After business hours, check doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
• Report suspicious activity on the property to NSG leadership and property owners and follow guidance from both.
• Guide discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off of the premises.
• Report any and all incidents promptly to the proper authorities and NSG leadership.
• Provide a visible and reassuring presence to deter potential security threats.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION
