Job summary

Hchcares is seeking a hospital security guard in New Castle, Indiana. You will patrol the premises, assist wheelchair patients and visitors, and help maintain a secure environment under general supervision.

Responsibilities include responding to assistance calls from various departments and the public, and supporting day-to-day security operations around the hospital, including vehicle access and crowd control.

Qualifications

• Must hold current arrest powers for Indiana.
• Must hold a valid license to carry firearms.
• Annual law enforcement training must be completed to maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Works under general supervision in maintaining a safe and secure environment in and around the Hospital.

• Performs duties ranging from daily clock patrols to assisting wheelchair patients and visitors in and out of their vehicles.

• Guards also responsible for answering calls for assistance from various departments within the Hospital, as well as from the general public.

Qualifications

• Must have current arrest powers for the State of Indiana and current license to carry firearms and be able to maintain these qualifications.
• Must take annual law enforcement training to maintain certifications.
