As a Security Guard Vehicle Patrol Driver in Totowa, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity, reliability, and teamwork.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, assisting with authorized entry procedures and reporting unauthorized access attempts.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
