Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Property Patrol for part-time shifts. You’ll safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a professional presence.

Responsibilities include patrols, access monitoring, incident response, and accurate reporting of observations to site contacts. Schedule: Sat and Sun 3:00 PM–11:00 PM; pay rate: $18/hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide customer service while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading areas and perimeters.
• Verify authorized personnel and deliveries.
• Document observations accurately and communicate with site contacts.

• Respond to incidents, delivery-area concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, vehicle entrances, trailer lots, employee access points, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
