Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare location, interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents and patrols in accordance with site procedures.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including assisting with medical emergencies and facility-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including building interiors, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
