Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Miami, FL. You will monitor and patrol the property, maintain a visible presence, and support access control and alarm response while delivering excellent customer service to residents, tenants, and visitors.

This full-time role includes a fixed schedule (Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM; Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM) and a pay rate

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience required.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular patrols of common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting suspicious behavior and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies per site protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate with leadership and client representatives.

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate property.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of common areas, building exteriors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; contact appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed by site protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with Allied Universal leadership, property management, and authorized client representatives regarding daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
