Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations calmly following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate information to appropriate personnel.

What You\'ll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, patient or visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with site policies.
• Document observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
