Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Mobile Patrol Driver in Arlington, TX to protect clients across automotive finance locations. You will conduct patrols, monitor access points, and provide courteous, professional service while upholding site procedures and safety protocols.

The role is full-time with a pay rate of $17.00 per hour. Candidates should have at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to communicate clearly in daily

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Age 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required by Allied Universal.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at an automotive finance office location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual conditions and maintaining required records.
• Assist with access control, vehicle and pedestrian traffic observations, and other assigned security-related duties while maintaining a professional presence.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
