Job Description

As a Security Guard - Unarmed Medical in Morrisville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and routine patrols contribute to a sense of order, while your strong communication and customer service skills support those on site. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or conditions within the location to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and guiding visitors as needed.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or medical emergencies when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• North Carolina Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
