Allied Universal® invites applications for a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced position in Mangonia Park, FL. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with an anchor schedule and the option to earn more by claiming additional shifts through our platform.

The role supports hospital patients, visitors, and staff with vigilant, professional security, maintaining access controls and incident response while complying with healthcare site policies and vaccine requirements.

Qualifications

• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals.
• A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, critical situations, and requests for assistance in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and support visitor management processes in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.

As a Security Guard Unarmed Hospital in Mangonia Park, FL, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.91 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
