Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assurance in Lutz, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, vendors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a healthcare purchasing and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and vendor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical-related events, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site and Allied Universal procedures.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and communicate observations and concerns to site leadership and incoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
