Allied Universal in Gaffney, SC is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed to protect client sites, deter incidents, and deliver professional customer service. You will monitor areas, perform patrols, and respond calmly to incidents alongside a reliable team.

This full‑time role requires at least a high school diploma, being 18 or older, and passing background checks and drug screening where permitted. A valid driver’s license may be needed for certain posts, with licensing requirements as applicable.

Job Description

As a Security Guard Unarmed in Gaffney, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally, respond to concerns, and support a welcoming environment while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $12.26 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
