Job Description

As a Security Guard TWIC Access Site in Savannah, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for personnel and operations. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Tue – 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Wed – 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM
• Thur – 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical facility.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, including facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter boundaries, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity to appropriate site personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and completed activities accurately in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
