Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Training Center in Denver, CO. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service to travelers and employees.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• CRM or tablet-based documentation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and vendors while following security procedures at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, concourses, gates, baggage areas, and parking facilities.
• Monitor for unusual activity and report observations per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly and coordinate with emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with access control and visitor direction while maintaining professional communication.

As a Security Guard Training Centerin Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers and employees. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document activity using computer or tablet technology. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned terminal areas, concourses, gates, baggage areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or potential security-related concerns, and report observations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and compliance with site rules while maintaining professional communication with stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
