As a Security Guard - Telecom Site - Part Time in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a leading Tech Media Telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, assisting with access control, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. You will contribute to a positive environment by working collaboratively with others and upholding the highest standards of integrity and reliability. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions typical of tech, media, and telecom locations.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through visible presence and adherence to protocols.
• Document and report any unusual activity or incidents according to site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A valid guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• California Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
