Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the safety and protection of personnel and property.

2. Patrol premises, monitor surveillance, inspect buildings and access points, and permit entry.

3. Sound alarms and obtain help when needed.

4. Report irregularities, inform violators of policies, restrain trespassers, and prevent losses.

5. Direct traffic and control vehicle flow.

6. Complete reports on observations, incidents, and surveillance activities; interview witnesses and obtain signatures.

7. Monitor and control building and equipment systems.

8. Comply with legal requirements to maintain organizational stability and reputation.

9. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and evaluate new tools and techniques.

Qualifications:

• Valid Security Officer Class D license issued by the State of Florida.

• Valid Florida Driver’s License.

• Reliable personal transportation.

• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts.

• Professional appearance and demeanor.

• Computer proficiency.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

• Smartphone ownership.

• Ability to pass a background check with no felony convictions.

• Willingness to work overnight shifts.
