Qualifications

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent intrusions, vandalism, or security concerns.
• Control access points; verify identification of visitors, employees, and vendors.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and log all activity in daily reports.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity.
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems and security equipment.
• Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and site management.
• Enforce site policies, rules, and safety procedures.

We are seeking dependable, alert, and professional Security Guards to join our team. Both evening and overnight shifts are available — full-time, part-time, and flexible scheduling options may be offered.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion, vandalism, or other security concerns
• Control access points; verify identification of visitors, employees, and vendors
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and log all activity in daily reports
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and suspicious activity
• Operate and monitor CCTV systems and security equipment
• Maintain a visible, professional presence to deter unauthorized activity
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement, emergency services, and site management when needed

Requirements

• Valid NYS Security Guard License (required)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation to job site
• Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, including outdoors in varying weather
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and stay alert during overnight hours
• Clean background check
• Prior security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus (not required)
