Job summary

Southeast Healthcare is looking for a Security Guard to join our team at Friends of the Homeless in Columbus, OH. In this role, you will ensure the safety and well-being of our guests while providing a supportive environment for men experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities include monitoring premises, conducting security checks, and maintaining respectful communication.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in security and strong interpersonal skills. We offer part-time and full-time shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security or a similar role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Training in CPR/First Aid and de-escalation techniques a plus.

Responsibilities

• Part‑time (Weekend Shift): Saturdays and Sundays, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• Full‑time (Second Shift): Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Qualifications

• Prior experience in security or a similar role preferred.
• Ability to stay calm and think clearly in high‑pressure situations.
• Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Training in CPR/First Aid and de‑escalation techniques a plus.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
