Job summary

Allied Universal, Fall River, MA, is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer to monitor manufacturing and industrial locations, deter incidents, and provide courteous service to employees and visitors.

You will perform guards, patrols, report hazards, manage access, and uphold site procedures. Must be 18+, HS diploma, pass background/drug screening; valid driver license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted per federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where allowed by law.
• Drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required.
• A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies, and respond to emergencies when needed in a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, access points, parking areas, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor/contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs of activity and incidents.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities in a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, office spaces, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Observe and report potential hazards, unusual conditions, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
