Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard (Full Time) for a Fall River, MA location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and provide excellent customer service in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.

We offer shift schedules Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour. The role emphasizes safety, accountability, and teamwork in a dynamic, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Applicants will undergo a background investigation as per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• A valid driver's license may be required for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and with problem-solving.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization, and maintain logs and incident documentation.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions to site contacts and leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a pharmaceutical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, offices, warehouses, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Report observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
