Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Review in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor assigned areas, support access control activities, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, and respond to evolving needs with professionalism. Pay Rate: $22.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report security-related incidents, suspicious activity, equipment concerns, and access-control issues to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports while supporting visitor, contractor, and vehicle access procedures as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
