Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed for a government location in Miami, FL. You will patrol, monitor access, and engage with employees and visitors while delivering strong customer service.

This is a part-time role with a flexible day schedule and a pay rate of $21.91 per hour. The position requires at least 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen where permitted by law.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry, and maintain logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with government personnel, visitors, law enforcement, and emergency responders while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or batons is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
