Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Guard in San Francisco, CA to protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and deliver excellent customer service while documenting observations with our technology platform.

You will work a part-time schedule with pay rate listed and opportunities to grow through our shift-claim program.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate reports, logs, and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site stakeholders.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $30.55 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 10:30 AM - 07:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
