As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, stock areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor customer and employee activity, report suspicious behavior, and communicate observations to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Assist with access control, opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a professional presence at assigned retail locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
