As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Fri: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, stock areas, and the surrounding perimeter, to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for potential policy violations, suspicious behavior, or other security-related concerns; document and report observations according to site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining orderly operations during store openings, closings, high-traffic periods, and emergency situations in accordance with site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
