As a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Asheville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a retail grocery location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of sales floors, entrances, exits, parking areas, receiving areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter theft, unauthorized entry, and other security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
