• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and service providers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, building entrances, common spaces, exterior grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization, maintain required logs, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, patrols, and daily activities accurately and promptly in required reports and logs.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule: Wednesday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM, Thursday 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
