What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with hotel management and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, hotel entrances, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and back-of-house locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe hotel activity, reporting suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional and welcoming presence in a hospitality-focused environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
