Job summary

Allied Universal in De Soto, KS is seeking a part-time Security Guard Patrol Driver to safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications site. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service while following site procedures.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, at least 1 year of security experience, and be 18+ (21+ for armed roles). Flexible shifts and growth opportunities are available through our Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of security-related experience required.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports.

Pay Rate: $22.28 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 02:45 PM - 11:15 PM
• Sun 06:45 AM - 03:15 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
