Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Guard in Columbus, OH. This role focuses on safeguarding clients, providing professional customer service, and adhering to site-specific policies while supporting a welcoming campus environment.

You will work a part-time schedule with the option to explore additional shifts using the Claim a Shift platform. The position requires prior security experience and a valid driver’s license for driving roles where applicable.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed 04:30 AM - 12:30 PM
• Sat 04:30 AM - 12:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
