Allied Universal as Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Saint Charles, MO, offers a flexible base schedule with anchor shifts and the opportunity to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform. The role focuses on customer service, incident response, patrols, and access control at a technology-focused site.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 (21+ for armed roles), possess a high school diploma, and are prepared for background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor activity, and delivery traffic in accordance with site protocols for a fast-paced business environment.
• Support day-to-day operations by preparing reports, recording incidents, and sharing timely updates regarding security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues.

Job Description

Life doesn’t always follow a fixed schedule. That’s why we created the Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position: a flexible, dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with the industry leader.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Rounds in Saint Charles, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.19 / Hour

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
