Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage in Saint Joseph, MO. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the possibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts through our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to personnel and visitors, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents while upholding safety procedures. The position starts at $16 per hour and supports part‑time employment with potential progression.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at a food and beverage production location by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facility grounds, perimeter areas, parking locations, access points, and/or designated interior areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site policies, and document visitor, contractor, and/or delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As a Security Guard Enhanced Part Time Patrol Coverage in Saint Joseph, MO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
