Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Part Time - Entrance Access in Greenville, SC. You will monitor access points, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service while maintaining security at a technology, media, and telecom location.

This part-time role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to grow within a dynamic security team. The position requires 18+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery partners at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential requirements per site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; escalate as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter; adapt to site conditions.
• Document incidents and observations; communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery partners at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or credential requirements in accordance with established site protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate contacts as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
